I want to take a moment to thank all you wonderful, brave people who post your work on this and other sites like this. You risk theft of your creative property, thoughtless and derisive comments, censorship (Poppa, what's an erection?) and the general frustration of having to explain or defend creative choices that need no explanation.

I've no idea why you do it (though I'm sure there are as many reasons why as there are artists), but I'm so glad you do!

There are many things in life that I might never see, so many places I may never go, so much pleasure, beauty, truth, fantasy and humor that I might never experience except through your work.

I don't post any of my drawings or writing - right now I'm not as brave as you all. I'll just carry on watching, favoriting and complimenting. Thank you for enriching my life with your talent and ability.
